1svc Companion
An optional app for wow.1svc.io addons. Addons can't go online, so the Companion does it for them. Your addons work the same without it.
Free beta for Mac (Apple silicon and Intel).
What it does
Send reports from the game
Write a bug report or idea in the addon. After /reload or logout, the app sends it for you, with any errors and test report attached.
Tester tools
Your checklist, caught Lua errors and recent activity, outside the game. Send a test report in one click.
Your data
Gold over time, ledger, auction profits and goals on a bigger screen. Read-only.
Backups
A dated copy of your addon data every time the game saves it. Restore one while the game is closed.
Starts with Peel & Profit. New wow.1svc.io addons plug in as they're released.
What it reads
- Only your addons' saved files in the WoW folder (WTF > SavedVariables). It never runs addon code and never changes game files.
- You sign in once, in your browser, with the same Google or Battle.net account you send reports with. The app can send reports as you and nothing else.
- Reports from the app follow the same rules as the website form. Your account details are never shown publicly.
Installing
The Mac app is signed and checked by Apple, so it opens like any other app. The Windows app isn't signed yet, so Windows warns you before the first start, once per version.
Mac
- 1Open the downloaded .dmg file.
- 2Drag 1svc Companion into Applications.
- 3Open it from Applications. The first time, macOS asks if you're sure because it came from the internet: click Open.
Windows
- 1Run the installer. If "Windows protected your PC" shows, click More info.
- 2Click Run anyway.
- 3Finish the install as usual.
